Volvo Cars operates two business models: one producing and selling cars and other financing them. But as the business transforms new business units would be needed and business needed their sourcing strategy to change from fixed capacity to an adaptive and on-demand. To do this we designed a new model that granted the business greater decision making leeway and create a unified vision and roadmap to deliver simplification and adaptability. Inline with designing the model we unlocked new value by creating business insights by facilitating the adoption of a culture and processes of experimentation, measurement and continuous learning.
